The Cantamus Girls Choir, founded in 1968 in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire,
England, is a choral ensemble comprising approximately forty girls aged thirteen
to nineteen, with a junior section for younger members. The choir was
established by Pamela Thompson (Director), Geoffrey Thompson (Treasurer), Sheila
Haslam (Secretary), and Ivan Haslam (Tickets/CD), and developed a reputation for
technical precision and stylistic versatility across a wide choral repertoire.
