Myraida Desireé Carmona Díaz, known professionally as Calma Carmona, is a Puerto
Rican singer-songwriter born on August 27, 1984, in Bayamón. Her music blended
soul and Latin soul with influences from artists including Sade Adu, Santana,
and La Lupe. In August 2013, Carmona was named MTV Iggy Artist of the week. That
same year, she opened for Beyoncé's The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in Puerto
Rico and released her debut EP, There's No Other Girl. In 2014, she released the
