Calle Ciega is a boy band from Venezuela. The group initially sang
merengue-based songs but later transitioned to hip hop and reggaeton. Their
first two albums, Caliente (1998) and No pares de sudar (1999), were released
under Ricardo Montaner's label Hecho a Mano and earned them gold and platinum
discs in Venezuela. In 2005, a new lineup recorded Una vez más, which was also
released in the United States by Prisma Records. Jesus "Chino" Miranda and
