Cage9, a Panamanian/American rock band formed in Panama City in 1993 by Evan
Rodaniche on guitar and vocals, began their musical journey with Master Blaster
(1995). The group gained significant exposure opening for acts like Ozzy
Osbourne and Bad Religion, among others. Their song "My Doppelgänger (Doble
Opuesto)" from El Motivo was released in both English and Spanish and received
full rotation on MTV Latino. Cage9 released several albums, including Survival
Plan (2009), How to Shoot Lasers from Your Eyes (2012) and Illuminator (2016).
