Bruno Arias, born 19 June 1979 in El Carmen, Argentina, is an Argentinian folk
singer who began his career accompanying Jaime Torres and Tomás Lipán. He moved
to Buenos Aires in 2002, performing at peñas and festivals, and in 2004 made his
first appearance at the Cosquín Folk Festival with Ángela Irene. His debut album
Changuito Volador (2005) focused on Jujuy rhythms such as huayno and saya.
Subsequent releases include Atierrizaje (2007), Kolla en la ciudad (2012), and
Madre Tierra (2014) with La Bruja Salguero, which earned him a Gardel Award in
2016 for Best Folk Group Album. ...
