Break Machine was a hip-hop group formed in New York, United States of America,
in 1983. The band was founded by Keith Rodgers, a musician and former host of a
rap-focused show called Bon Rock Live on the local radio station WHBI 105.9. In
1981, under the pseudonym Bon Rock, Rodgers released "Searching Rap". Two years
later, he collaborated with French producers Jacques Morali and Henri Belolo,
along with musician Fred Zarr, to form Break Machine. The group included three
New York-based breakdancers: Lindsay Blake, Lindell Blake, and Cortez Jordan.
