Brainstorm was a German rock band from Baden-Baden. The group was formed in 1968
as Fashion Pink by Roland Schaeffer, Eddy von Overheidt, Rainer Bodensohn,
Joachim Koinzer, Helmut Rusch, and Jürgen Argast. After Rusch and Argast left
the band, it was renamed Brainstorm in 1972. The band's repertoire spanned
progressive rock to experimental jazz rock, often described as a blend of Frank
Zappa and the Canterbury Sound. Their debut album Smile a While was released in
