bonobos
Bonobos, a Japanese dub band from Osaka, was formed in August 2001 by Chunho Sai
on guitar and vocals. The initial lineup also included Yasuyuki "Kojiro" Sasaki
on lead guitar, Izumi Matsui on percussion, Bondo Tsuji on drums, and Natsuko
Morimoto on bass. Their first full-length album, Hover Hover, was released in
2004, marking their debut in the music scene. The band's early releases included
the extended play (EP) Golden Days in 2005 and the single "Standing
There〜いま、そこに行くよ〜" in November 2006.
