Boknakaran
Boknakaran, a Norwegian folk music group formed in 1992, comprises Ragnar Olsen,
Jan Arvid Johansen, Malvin Skulbru, and Pål Thorstensen. They are known for
songs about coastal culture and political issues. The group has toured
extensively throughout northern Norway and has held an annual Christmas concert
at the Skarven tavern in Tromsø. Their discography includes Unbløgged! (1994),
Oppståar-tid! (1996), På kryss og ters (1999), Moja på tvoja (2001), Nær og dær
(2003), and Kortreist Musikk (2011). Since 2008, Julie Alapnes Normann has been
