Blackie & the Rodeo Kings

Blackie and The Rodeo Kings, a Canadian folk rock and alternative country band, was formed in 1996 in Hamilton, Ontario by Tom Wilson, Stephen Fearing, and Colin Linden. Their debut album High or Hurtin': The Songs of Willie P. Bennett, released as a tribute to the singer-songwriter Willie P. Bennett, marked their breakthrough. In 1999, they released Kings Of Love, which won the Juno Award for Best Roots & Traditional Album – Group in 2000. Throughout the 2000s, Blackie and The Rodeo Kings continued to release albums such as Bark (2003) and Let's Frolic! (2006).
