Born Baya Bouzar in Belouizdad (Belcourt) on September 13, 1952, Biyouna is a
popular star in Algeria and throughout the Algerian diaspora. Best known for her
television and film roles, Biyouna is above all a free woman's voice who knows
how to make herself heard. Biyouna made her name in 1973 in the soap opera La
