Beppo Pohlmann is a German singer-songwriter, lyricist, and composer who was
born in Osnabrück, Germany, in 1951. He achieved early professional recognition
in 1974 with the release of the album Ich bin so guter Dinge. Pohlmann is famous
for writing the song “Kreuzberger Nächte” (1978), which became the biggest
success for his band Gebrüder Blattschuss. He co-founded the ensemble Gebrüder
Blattschuss in 1976 and served as the last active founding member. Since 1988,
