Urban artist Beny Jr was born on August 12, 1988, in the Moroccan city of Beni Ahamed Garbía, Chefchaouen. He moved to Spain at a very young age and settled down in the neighborhood of La Florida in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, a city right outside Barcelona. After a series of run-ins with the law that resulted in multiple prison sentences, Beny Jr found solace in music and went on to become one of the biggest exponents of trap and drill with early tracks like "Maleante," "Muévelo Así," and the viral hit "#FreePeke," recorded with fellow MC and friend Morad in 2019.
