Ben Liebrand
Ben Liebrand, born 27 September 1960 in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, is a Dutch
DJ, producer, and remixer who began his career as a teenage mobile disc jockey
in 1976. He first gained attention with early singles such as "I Wish",
"Puls(t)ar", and "Move To The Bigband" in 1990, establishing his reputation for
innovative remixing. In 1983 he launched the pioneering radio show In The Mix on
Dutch National Radio, followed by the annual Grandmix yearmixes that ran until
1992 and resumed in various formats through 2021. His remix of Jeff Wayne's "The
Eve of the War" reached number three...
