Azteca
Azteca was a Latin rock band formed in 1972 in San Francisco by percussionist
Coke Escovedo. The group featured a diverse lineup including Pete Escovedo on
vocals and percussion, Neal Schon from Santana on guitar, and Lenny White on
drums. They signed with Columbia Records and released their self-titled debut
album in 1972, which blended rock en español. The album charted for nine weeks
in the U.S., peaking at number 151. Their second album, Pyramid of the Moon, was
