Averi
Averi was an American rock band formed in Boston in 1998 by drummer Matt Lydon,
saxophonist Michael Currier, and vocalist Chad Perrone. The band first gained
attention with the EP At Wits End (2000), featuring a saxophone‑heavy funk sound
that attracted the local scene and the attention of producer Mike Denneen. In
2001, they released their debut studio album Direction of Motion, which sold
thousands of copies and enabled extensive touring of the East Coast. Drawn to
