Atsuko Hashimoto is a Japanese jazz organist born in Osaka. She began playing
the organ at age four and received training in classical music before
specializing in jazz. At age 18, she became a Hammond-certified instructor for
Hammond Japan. Hashimoto reached wider visibility in 1992 after performing with
her own organ quartet at the Osaka Jazz Festival and the Naniwa Arts Festival.
She made her professional debut in the United States in 1999 with performances
