Aslı Gökyokuş, born October 26, 1977, in Istanbul, Turkey, is a singer known for
her contributions to alternative and rock music. Also known as Aslı, her musical
journey began during high school with the band Phoenix, which later evolved into
Mary Jane. The group performed cover hits at local venues, including the Gitar
Bar and Kemancı. Gökyokuş's breakthrough came when she worked as a backing
vocalist for prominent Turkish artists Haluk Levent and Teoman. In 2000, she
