Asheru

Gabriel Benn, born December 29, 1974, in Columbia, Maryland, is an American rapper known professionally as Asheru. After graduating from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Anthropology, he joined the independent label Seven Heads Entertainment and released the group Unspoken Heard’s first album Soon Come in 2001. His solo debut Insomnia Vol. 1 followed in 2005.
