aseul
Lee Soojeong, born in Incheon, South Korea, is an electro-pop musician known as
Aseul. After studying electronic digital music at Kyonggi University, she
debuted as Yukari with Echo (2012) before changing her stage name to Aseul. Her
album New Pop (2016) was nominated for Best Dance and Electronic Album at the
2017 Korean Music Awards. She followed with the EPs Asobi (2018) and Slow Dance
(2020). In 2021, she contributed to Wings of the Isang’s album The Borderline
Between Hope and Despair.
