Arat Kilo
A Parisian quintet founded in 2008, Arat Kilo specializes in ethio-jazz, a
micro-genre they revived with a few pinches of dub on their homonymous debut
mini-album released in 2009. Two years later, A Night in Abyssinia brings
together stars such as Mulatu Astatke, Malian singer Rokia Traoré and Canadian
rapper Socalled, for a festival of spicy sounds.
