Apartment 26 was a nu/industrial metal band from Leamington Spa, England, formed
in 1998 by vocalist Terence "Biff" Butler, guitarist Jon Greasley, bassist Louis
Cruden, and keyboardist Andy "A.C." Huckvale. The band's name was inspired by
the David Lynch film Eraserhead. Apartment 26 released their debut EP, Within,
in 1999. Their first album, Hallucinating (2000), was released under Hollywood
Records and featured the single "Basic Breakdown", which peaked at number 33 on
