Anne Shelton, born Patricia Jacqueline Sibley on November 10, 1923, in Dulwich, South London, is an English vocalist known for her contributions to pop and traditional pop music. At 16, she appeared on the BBC talent radio show Monday Night at Eight and sang "Let the Curtain Come Down", which led to her signing with dance-band leader Bert Ambrose's Ambrose Orchestra. She made her first broadcast with Ambrose in June 1940 and released her debut solo record for Rex Records, featuring "I Can't Love You Any More" backed with "Fools Rush In (Where Angels Fear to Tread)".
