Anna Cecilia Sahlin Wahlsteen, known professionally as Anna Sahlene or Sahlene,
was born on May 11, 1976, in Söderhamn, Sweden. She began her career as an
actress before transitioning to music, serving as a background vocalist for
artists such as Carola Häggkvist and Robyn. In 2000, she released her first
single, "House", from her EP The Little Voice. Sahlene gained international
recognition in 2002 when she represented Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest
