The German singer and songwriter Andrea Neuenhofen (née Rosenbaum; born 25
December 1969 in East Berlin, East Germany), known professionally as AnNa R.,
has been plying her trade as a pop-adjacent musician since the early 1990s. She
became the primary vocalist of the duo Rosenstolz in 1991 and alongside Peter
Plate satisfied Germany's pop appetites until 2012, picking up chart victories
on home soil as well as Switzerland and Austria along the way. Following the
