Ann Christy, born Christiane Leenaerts on September 22, 1945, in Antwerp,
Belgium, was a Flemish singer. She began her musical career as part of the band
The Adams and released her single, "Kussen onder regenbogen", in 1965. In 1975,
Ann Christy represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest with "Gelukkig
zijn", achieving a fifteenth place finish out of nineteen participants. She
performed in the musical Midzomernachtsdroom 152 times since 1977 and recorded
original versions of songs written by Bob Dylan, including "If I Don’t Be there
by Morning" and "Walk out in the Rain"....
