Anita Lindblom, born Anita Eleonora Lindblom on December 14, 1937, in Hille,
Sweden, was a Swedish singer and actress. Raised by her grandmother, she moved
to Uppsala at two years old and later to Stockholm. She began her career as a
dancer before transitioning into singing. Her musical breakthrough came in 1956
with her first single "Ljuva ungkarlstid/En hemvävd stillsam tös" on Polydor. In
1961, she achieved major success with the single "Sånt är livet" on Karusell
Records. This was followed by hits like "Milord", a Swedish version of Edith
Piaf's song, and "Det hav stjørnna sa...
