Angelica, an all‑girl punk rock group from Lancaster, England, was formed in
1994 by Holly Ross (lead vocals and guitar), Brigit Colton (bass guitar), Claire
Windsor (guitar) and Rachel Parsons (drums), while the members were still in
school; Holly Ross, later became the band’s principal songwriter. The band’s
breakthrough came with the 1997 single "Teenage Girl Crush" released on
Deceptive Records, which established their presence on the independent scene and
