Anders Bergcrantz, born on December 5, 1961, in Malmö, Sweden, is a Swedish
trumpeter. He grew up in a musical family and began playing the trumpet at age
15. Bergcrantz started performing regionally with his father’s quintet and
formed his own band in 1986, touring internationally. Notable collaborations
include performances with Michael Brecker and a two-week residency at Ronnie
Scott's in 1990. He also performed as a guest soloist at Carnegie Hall in New
