Amy Helm, born December 3, 1970 in Woodstock, New York, is an American singer-songwriter. She began her musical journey studying jazz and performing in local bands during high school. In 1999, she joined her father Levon Helm's blues band The Barn Burners. Helm co-founded the alt-country ensemble Ollabelle in 2001, which released the albums Olabelle (2004), Riverside Battle Songs (2006), and Neon Blue Bird (2011).
