Alkpote
Atef Kahlaoui (February 3, 1981), better known as Alkpote, is a French rapper
from Évry. Born into a Tunisian family, he began rapping at the age of 15 and
joined the hip hop collective Unité 2 Feu, whose debut album Haine, Misère et
Crasse (2006) enjoyed a great deal of popularity within the underground rap
scene. Alkpote made his official debut as a solo artist with the mixtape
Sucez-moi Avant l'Album (2007), followed by his first studio full-length
L’Empereur in 2008. Follow-up mixtapes Alkpote et la Crème du 91 (2009) and
