Kaleidoscopic singer-songwriter Alice Smith (born November 30, 1977) unleashed
her four-octave voice onto the world in 2006 with the acclaimed debut album, For
Lovers, Dreamers & Me. Smith, who grew up between Washington, D.C., and her
grandmother's farm in Georgia, channeled her eclectic musical upbringing and
tastes into the genre-spanning album, which encompassed rock, country, soul, R&B
and more. Album track "Dream" was featured on season four of the hit HBO series
Entourage and Showtime drama series The L Word. In 2007, Smith received her
first Grammy nomination in the Best ...
