Alice Merton
Alice Merton, who was born in Frankfurt am Main on September 13, 1993, is a true
cosmopolitan. The daughter of a German mother and an Irish father, she spent her
childhood with her parents in New York, Canada and England. One of the constants
is music: at the age of five she started playing the piano, at 16 she took part
in a course for singer-songwriters at her school in Munich, wrote songs on the
guitar and was soon performing with her first band. After a few semesters of
