Alex Wilson
Alex Wilson, born November 21, 1971, is a British pianist, composer, producer,
arranger, and educator. After studying electronics at the University of York,
Wilson entered the professional music scene in 1993, performing with Courtney
Pine and Wynton Marsalis and signing with Candid Records. Under this label, the
pianist released the albums Anglo Cubano (1999), Afro-Saxon (2001), and R&B
Latino (2002). Wilson later established Alex Wilson Records, issuing the albums
Aventuras (2005), Inglaterra (2007), Salsa con Soul (2008), Mali Latino (2010),
