Alexander Don Lambert, born on December 10, 1990 in North Richland Hills, Texas,
is an American singer-songwriter. He began singing and playing guitar at age
nine, inspired by his grandfather's country music career. Lambert gained initial
recognition as a semi-finalist on the ninth season of American Idol in 2009,
where he performed "Sunday Morning" by Maroon 5 and "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz.
