Alex Isley
Alexandra Isley, born April 16, 1987, in New Jersey, is an American
singer-songwriter and producer. The daughter of Ernie Isley of the Isley
Brothers, she grew up in Los Angeles. She studied jazz at UCLA. Isley has
synesthesia, which influences her songwriting. She debuted with the
self-produced EP The Love/Art Memoirs in 2012, followed by the studio albums
Dreams in Analog (2013) and L U X U R Y (2015). She released the collaborative
album Marigold with Jack Dine in 2022. In 2023, her album I Left My Heart in
Ladera with Terrace Martin peaked at number 2 on Billboard's Contempor...
