Aleš Brichta is a Czech heavy metal singer and songwriter born on 9 August 1959
in Prague. Brichta achieved professional recognition as a founding member of the
ensemble Arakain in 1982. He recorded eleven studio recordings with the group,
including Thrash the Trash (1990) and Farao (1999). He was recognized as the
best singer in the Černá vrána poll in 1992, which led to the formation of the
supergroup Zemětřesení. The group released the eponymous studio recording
Zemětřesení (1993). Brichta established a solo career in 1994 with the studio
