Born Guillaume Aldebert on July 7, 1973 in Paris, the singer Aldebert first took a vocational baccalaureate in photography before developing a passion for music. He played in a metal band called White, then radically changed his style when he went solo in 1999 with an album of French chanson called Plateau Télé. Strongly influenced by Georges Brassens and Charles Trenet, his songs are imbued with a sense of childhood and nostalgia.
