Agnes Obel
Danish singer-songwriter and pianist Agnes Caroline Thaarup Obel was born on
October 28, 1980, in Gentofte, Copenhagen. Her first album, Philharmonics, was
released on October 4, 2010, and went gold just one year later. At the Danish
Music Awards in November 2011, she won a total of five awards. In 2013, she
released her second album, Aventine, which earned Agnes Obel her second
number-one hit in Denmark and also charted in Germany, Austria, and the United
