Agathe Max, born around 1980, is a French violinist and composer from Lyon who
is known for her work in experimental and improvised music. She received
classical music training and graduated from the Conservatoire national de
Bourgoin-Jallieu in 1995. Max later ventured into experimental and
improvisational music, graduating in electroacoustic composition in 2015. Max
has collaborated with numerous artists including Rhys Chatham, Carla Bozulich,
