Acceptance, a pop-punk band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1998. Their
initial breakthrough came with the release of their first EP, Lost for Words, in
2000. The band's early success led to national tours and performances at notable
events such as the Warped Tour and Cornerstone Festival. In 2003, they released
the EP Black Lines to Battlefields. Following this, Acceptance signed with
Sony-owned Columbia Records and released their debut album, Phantoms, in 2005.
The album was produced by Aaron Sprinkle and included the controversial Extended
