Abhijit Pohankar, born on June 29, 1975, in Mumbai, India, was an Indian
classical instrumentalist known for his keyboard playing. The grandson of
Susheela Pohankar and son of vocalist Ajay Pohankar, Abhijit initially trained
under santoor player Shivkumar Sharma. He began his career playing classical
music on the keyboard before venturing into world music and fusion genres. His
