Abdullah Miniawy, born on March 29, 1994, in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, is an Egyptian
singer-songwriter and trumpeter. He migrated to Egypt in 2011, settling first in
El-Fayoum before moving to Cairo. During the early revolutionary movements,
Miniawy performed at a protest for the first time. His early compositions were
electronic and freely available online. In 2015, he participated in the project
99 with Amir Saffar and Marc Nammour and contributed to Wael Shawky's exhibition
