Abbacadabra
Abbacadabra, a portmanteau of ABBA and Abracadabra, was a British pop group of
the 1990s, formed in 1992 amid the ABBA revival by Martyn Norris and Richard
Cottle. Their music consisted of dance-floor-oriented covers of classic ABBA
hits, and their biggest success was their version of "Dancing Queen", which
reached the UK chart in 1992 at number 57 and the Austrian chart the same year
at number 12.
